About the project

GM Lighting had deep product information on its site, but customers still struggled to find what they needed quickly. We built an AI chatbot that acts like a product-aware digital specialist, giving users helpful answers in natural language while giving the GM Lighting team visibility into how those conversations evolve over time.

The challenge

Visitors were leaving the site without finding relevant answers, while the support team was spending too much time on repetitive product questions. GM Lighting needed a way to improve discovery, handle detailed technical queries, and keep support costs from growing alongside demand.

Our solution

We integrated an AI chatbot powered by OpenAI with direct access to current product knowledge and paired it with an internal admin panel for monitoring chat history, reviewing threads, exporting interactions, and spotting common support themes. The result is a conversational layer that improves customer guidance while staying operationally manageable for the team behind it.
